AGM - Tuesday June 15th 8pm at the Clubhouse If you want to play Summer hockey and havent been asked please contact Chris Hollidge 07738 512457     Founded in 1954 the club has certainly grown over the last few years, the club fields 8 mens teams and 5 ladies teams, all ladies teams gained promotion last season the first time in the clubs history, two mens teams also gained promotion. Saffron Walden is one of the largest most successful clubs in East Anglia. Having moved to the Astro turf at Newport Grammar School and building a superb facility of a clubhouse with changing facilities all colour coordinated in club colours, Saffron Walden have become the envy of nearby clubs. A superbly maintained Astro turf surface means there are rarely any cancelled matches.
