Saffron Walden Hockey Club
Founded in 1954 the club has certainly grown over the last few years, the forthcoming season sees the club adding two new teams a mens 8th XI and a ladies 5th XI making Saffron Walden one of the largest clubs in East Anglia. Having moved to the Astro turf at Newport Grammar School and building a superb facility of a clubhouse with changing facilities all colour coordinated in club colours, Saffron Walden have become the envy of nearby clubs. A superbly maintained Astro turf surface means there are rarely any cancelled matches.

Please note that this site is new this season, any ideas about what you would like to see on your club site please contact the webmaster@saffronwaldenhockey.co.uk with your ideas. I know you would like to get rid of the mountain bikers, this is being looked into. The site has been constructed from a template for speed and cost.
