gg	Founded in 1954 the club has certainly grown over the last few years, the forthcoming season sees the club adding two new teams a mens 8th XI and a ladies 5th XI making Saffron Walden one of the largest clubs in East Anglia. Having moved to the Astro turf at Newport Grammar School and building a superb facility of a clubhouse with changing facilities all colour coordinated in club colours, Saffron Walden have become the envy of nearby clubs. A superbly maintained Astro turf surface means there are rarely any cancelled matches.
